Besakih Tour is one day trip to Klungkung Regency where the Justice Palace is situated. As the former kingdom, Klungkung has many tourism objects from previous culture. The famous one is Kerta Gosa that once used as the Justice Palace, built around 1686 by the kingdom of Klungkung Ida I Dewa Agung Jambe. This palace located in the center of Semarapura Town beautifully adorned by fish pond, lush garden and the well-known Kamasan ceiling paintings style, presented many stories including Palindon. Re-painting it in the 20th century has become the action of conservation performed to preserve Kerta Gosa.
The tour will be continued to see the most important “Mother Temple” of Bali. Besakih temple has supreme location on the slopes of the holiest mountain and is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali. Standing on the calming temple area, magnificent nature panorama presents the sparkling ocean views from the distance. Known as Pura Penataran Agung, the temple is Bali’s foremost place of worship, a complex consists of two temples set on parallel ridges. This expresses the critical belief Tri Hita Kirana, meaning the harmonious life between human, God, and society. The place is always full of visitors and periodically hold religious ceremony.
