East Bali tour

The first stop is Kerta Gosha traditional justice palace of Klungkung kingdom built on 1622 located in the center of Semarapura city, Tenganan traditional villages, Candidasa beach, Tirtagangga water garden, Ujung water palace and Kusamba village for traditional salt making.

The tour will visit Tenganan, at Candidasa the most prosperous area in east Bali occupied around 1,000 ha of fertile rice fields on the slopes of Gunung Agung. Tenganan is a Bali Aga village where the villagers here still maintain their daily life similar to their anchestors. The Bali Aga believes that God Indra has chosen them and predominately Hindu people. Many beautiful Balinese crafts can be found there  such as the traditional 'kamben geringsing' whose pattern were belived as a design by God Indra himself. Some Balinese calendars on lontar leaves also can be brought here.

Tirta Gangga shall be other place of interest to visit during East Bali Tour. This refers to the water palace and the lush garden and stone carvings and statues covering one hectare complex area. It was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but then re-built and restored after the eruption. The place has authentic royal magnificence with eleven tiered fountain and many beautiful carvings and statues embellishing the gardens.
